FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Copenhagen, Denmark – June 10th 2015

KnapNok Games and Nifflas’ Games, the developers behind the critically acclaimed Wii U exclusive title Affordable Space Adventures, have announced that the game will receive a free update after the summer that will add new game content and fixes.

The new update will feature 5 new extremely difficult levels for those who have finished the game, but are still looking for a greater challenge that puts players to the test. These new levels have been designed to take advantage of every single feature of the Small Craft, including some that players might not even be aware existed. Beating the puzzles within these levels will require heavy thinking, and precise maneuvering of the Small Craft, making it an ideal challenge both in single player and multiplayer modes.

These new higher difficulty levels will be released as part of a free update available for everyone after Summer 2015. Besides adding new content, the update will also fix a number of issues players have found in the game (special shout-out goes to the amazing Miiverse community, who has been reporting some rather funny bugs like the “Interstellar Glitch”).

Since its launch in April 9th 2015, Affordable Space Adventures has been receiving great reviews, with the press appraising it for its innovative use of the Wii U gamepad, its fun co-op multiplayer that tasks players with the different roles of the pilot, engineer and science officer of the game’s Small Craft, its mysterious and beautifully crafted environments and even a fun way of using Nintendo’s own Miiverse community.

To commemorate the game’s positive reception, KnapNok Games and Nifflas’ Games have released two new trailers with quotes and scores from the press.
With this update, KnapNok Games hopes that players who were left wanting more after finishing the main adventure will be able to return to their Small Crafts once more and take on the challenge of these new levels.

“We had lots of ideas for very tricky puzzles that we couldn’t find room for in the final release of the game. We hope the community will take on the challenge of these new levels”, says Lau Korsgaard, Creative Director at KnapNok Games. “Besides this free update, we still have lots of other plans for Affordable Space Adventures. In the future, we want to release a more substantial update as paid DLC that will expand the universe of Affordable Space Adventures and tell another chapter of the Uexplore story”.
