Birmingham, UK, February 17th 2016 – Online merchandise retailer Merchoid.com has revealed their latest range of officially licensed Mario and Zelda merchandise, due to launch later this year. The products are based around Nintendo’s successful Mario and Zelda games and include cups, lights and ice cube trays themed around the games. All products are officially licensed by Nintendo.

The Mario Merchandise Collection

The full range of new Mario merchandise consists of coasters (modelled after iconic pieces of Mario scenery), a magnetic Pixel Craft Board for designing your own 8-bit artwork, a Question Block Storage Tin, an 8-bit ice cube tray, a coffee mug and a fridge magnet set.

Three of the items in the range have been inspired by last year’s level creation smash hit, Mario Maker: The coasters are made from different pieces of Mario level scenery and can be creatively arranged, the coffee mug contains lots of individual Mario level elements that stick onto (and can be removed from) the mug and the fridge magnet set allows construction of your own level on a kitchen fridge.

Merchoid’s Community Manager Jessica Adams said of the collection “We’ve had loads of fun with the Mario Maker style fridge magnets. You’ll end up going into the kitchen for a snack and coming out with a brilliant new idea for a level!”

The Zelda Merchandise Collection

The headline item in the Zelda collection is a USB powered, golden Triforce light that projects the Hylian royal crest onto a wall, suitable to use as a desk lamp or mood light. The range also includes a collection of three separate mugs – a black coffee mug featuring the Hylian royal crest, a Hylian shield mug moulded after Link’s iconic shield and a tumbler that features artwork from The Wind Waker game. The final item in the collection is a premium, Zelda themed notebook that includes a map of Hyrule across the back pages.

Both the Mario and Zelda Merchandise Collection are available to preorder now on Merchoid.com and are released in June 2016.
