Dear Reader:
Midboss halts production of eShop titles following release of Alison Rapp (UPDATE)
UPDATE 2 - Now Midboss has removed the tweet stating that they'll continue production on eShop games. I don't know WHAT to make of the situation. That said, you can clearly see what they said in their tweets below, even if the tweets themselves have been deleted.
UPDATE - Midboss has now reversed their initial decision.
Due to updated info and a honest conversation with sources close to issue, we will not be moving forward with halting our production plans.

In support of women in the game industry we are forced to halt production of currently planned titles on Nintendo consoles as of this time.

It seems like this statement was made before Nintendo offered up their reason as to Rapp was released. After that, the Midboss Twitter didn't say they were going back on the decision, but they did say they'll have some sort of comment tomorrow. Thanks to TheDreamingHawk for the heads up.
