Could Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE be getting new content, or even a sequel?

The following public audition notice was posted by Avex Group, the company that handled the music in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE...

Avex (the company that produced the music in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE) and SHOWROOM (provider of live entertainment footage) are collaborating (with the support of Decoo, an Internet content provider) to host a public event in the search of new talent in the entertainment industry.

The public event will be a voice actor audition, for the chance of the winner to make their big debut.

Overview and Dates
The application period was held from February 17 to March 15. Following that, performances were held on SHOWROOM from March 15 to March 31, where participants held live performances to gain ranking points and popularity.

From April 8 to April 22, the performances of the candidates will be up for review on the competition page.

The most popular qualified to the next round, which will be on April 22 at 8:00 PM JST where an audition program will be held, with finalists chosen at the end.

Kaori Fukuhara (the voice actor for Mamori Minamoto) will appear during the SHOWROOM public viewing event as a host. The event will feature an “acting showcase” segment where candidates will be given scripts to act out, as well as an “a cappella” segment where candidates will have to perform one of the following songs:

Female Participants (1 of the songs):
Reincarnation by Kiria (CV: Yoshino Nanjo)
Fly ~Your Wind~ by Tsubasa Oribe (CV: Inori Minase)
Male Participants:
Jump! Ogre!!! by Toma Akagi (Yuuki Ono)
Each song is from the “Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Vocal Collection.”

Showroom Competition

July 2016 (Scheduled) Final Live Performance
The on-stage live event featuring the voice actor finalists will reach its conclusion in July 2016 with “avex X SHOWROOM Voice Actors Live (provisional).”

The judges and the audience will be asked to participate in the singing.

Results will then be announced for the passing candidates on the official audition page.

Successful Candidates
The winners of the event will be rewarded with the following:

An appearance as a voice actor in a new RPG.
Voice acting and dance lessons from Avex staff.
The possibility of a debut as a new Avex voice actor.

Eligible candidates were between 15 to 25 years of age, had to be residents of Japan and had to be able to communicate fluently in Japanese.

As you can see, the audition info certainly references Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE a lot. It's a prominent part of the listing and will also be featured in big ways during the audition. The same listing also mentions work on a new RPG. These two elements seem to point to either new content for the original game, or a sequel in the works. Then again, it could all just be for a new game completely unrelated to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE! I guess we'll just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.
