Australia - local government requests removal of select Pokemon stops

GN Version 5.0

The City of Canada Bay (Australia) Council have gotten in touch with Niantic to ask them to remove two of the three Pokéstops in a local park. Turns out the amount of people hitting up these Pokestops has been causing trouble in the area, including some run-ins with police. On top of that, all the extra foot traffic is making it hard for vehicles to pass, including emergency vehicles. Equally worse, extra staff has been hired by the council to take care of all the extra trash that players are leaving behind. No word yet on whether Niantic is going to grant the request.
