Automated bots take all the legwork out of Pokémon GO

GN Version 5.0

What's the point of Pokémon GO? It's all about getting out there in the world and catching Pokémon. You walk around, enjoy the thrill of the hunt and hopefully come home with a few Pokémon in your pocket. Well, that's the intended way to play, anyway.

Companies have started cranking out automated bots that do all the work for you. All you have to do is have Pokémon GO installed and then these bots do the rest. You put in a few details and the bots catch Pokémon for you left and right. Some of these automated bots ask you to pay to use their services. No matter what, the bots are taking the play out of Pokémon GO so you can just sit back and reap the rewards.

If that's how you want to experience Pokémon GO, so be it. I'm not one to tell people how to enjoy a game. That said, I'm a bit saddened to see people taking this route. I wonder how Niantic is going to respond.
