NPD - 3DS sales see major uptick for August 2016
- sales of 2DS were up 500 per cent year-on-year
- 3DS hardware sales were up 83 percent
- physical and digital first party 3DS software sales climbed 57 percent
- Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire re-enteried the software charts
- Wii U software sales saw a 30 percent bump
