GN Version 5.0

eBay Black Friday

- one NES Classic was sold every two minutes

eBay Cyber Monday

- one NES Classic sold every two minutes

eBay DataLabs’ information

- roughly 20,000 NES Classic Editions were sold on eBay between Nov. 15 and Nov. 22

- NES Classic Edition is selling for an average of $198 with a high of $286 and a low of $154 now

Clearly stock issues are slowing sales of the NES Classic Edition on eBay. There have only been so many to go around. When reached for comment, Nintendo had this to say about the stock situation.

“The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition system is a hot item, and we are working hard to keep up with consumer demand. There will be a steady flow of additional systems through the holiday shopping season and into the new year. Please contact your local retailers to check product availability. A selection of participating retailers can be found at www.Nintendo.com/nes-classic.”
