The mystery behind Miyamoto's Mario shirt

GN Version 5.0

Since Miyamoto's appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, fans have been trying to figure out what Miyamoto's shirt is all about. Is there something to it? Is it a tease for something Mario related?

Seems like Mr. Trinen is adding fuel to the fire. I guess there is something going on with the shirt. For what it's worth, Kyle McLain on Twitter says that the kanji on Miyamoto's shirt says "Ran" ("δΉ±" meaning "chaos"), which in Japanese is pronounced exactly like "Run". Bill actually replied to this information.

As for my two cents, I don't think that feudal outfit Mario is in fits with Super Mario Run. Could this be a tease for Mario's upcoming Switch title?
