- this in-game transportation system mirrors the real world transportation system
- virtual vehicles follow the schedules of their real world counterparts
- if there is a bus in your city that travels on a particular route from 9AM – 11AM, the same happens in-game
- servers automatically obtain bus schedules from various online sources
- when two players trade Pokemon, the traded Pokemon will use the virtual transport system to travel to their new locations
- players may have to go near the transport hubs, stations and airports for the corresponding to receive their new Pokemon
