We're very sad to report that Tony Rosato, the voice actor behind Luigi in the Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World animated series', has passed away at the age of 62. He died from a heart attack. Our condolensces go out to all those impacted by Mr. Rosato's passing.
It should be noted that he played Luigi in Super Mario Bros. 3 and World, not the original Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
So sad. Part of my childhood.
I preferred Captain Lou and Danny Wells as the voices of Mario and Luigi. But the SMB3 voices were still decent. Sad that he died before his time.
