When you talk about big-name animated features from Japan, Studio Ghibli is at the top of the list. Their work is synonymous with Japanese animated features of high quality. It turns out some of their films also have a crossover with the world of video games. Specifically, those of Earthbound creator, Shigesato Itoi.

Shigesato Itoi has been involved with quite a few Studio Ghibli films. Itoi provided the voice for Tatsuo Kusakabe, the father in My Neighbor Totoro. On top of that, he's created many of the Japanese taglines that are tied to Studio Ghibli films.

In the poster above, Itoi wrote the tagline, which works out to, “These strange creatures still exist in Japan. Supposedly.” You can check out some more of his taglines here.
