GN Version 5.0

Earlier today, we heard from Warner Bros. that LEGO City Undercover's retail version didn't require a download to make it playable. We still don't know what the download is for, or what it's so big. Now Warner Bros. has released another statement, which is the same as the first, but with a bit more info.

Players who purchase LEGO City: Undercover on Nintendo Switch at retail do not need to download the game to play. All players who purchase the game can download the small content update patch with an internet connection.

What is this "small content update patch"? The 13 gig listing on the box certainly can't be considered small. The 7 gig file size for the eShop version isn't necessarily small either. We have no idea what this patch is, or yet again, what it does.
