GN Version 5.0

Do you have a Switch hardware issue that requires it being sent to Nintendo? If so, you might want to prepare for a rough time when it returns. Some consumers are getting their Switch units back from Nintendo, only to find that save data couldn't be retained and has been wiped. Now you have a working Switch, but you've lost all your save data. We're not sure which situation is worse!

Keep in mind, not all users who send their unit away to customer service are losing their save data. We're not sure what Nintendo is doing to decide who loses their data and who doesn't, but it's a scary proposition!
