Splatoon 2 getting new mode called Salmon Run where you fight off new Chum enemies in waves. Collect power eggs from defeated enemies. Bigger enemies called Steelheads are bigger and tougher. Deploy a lifesaver when you die, which means partners can come in and help you. Golden eggs can be transported to a containment unit, which is the ultimate objective. You can get special rewards for doing this mode. New amiibo coming as well, but still compatible with old amiibo. Game and amiibo launch June 21st.
