Citigroup analysts think Nintendo will shrink the size of Switch in 2019

Coming from Citigroup analysts...

“Although the Nintendo Switch can be used as a handheld device, we think smaller children could struggle to use it comfortably in that format due to its size and weight. Accordingly, we think Nintendo will launch a lighter, dedicated handheld version of the Switch, possibly to be called the Switch Mini.”

We've seen Nintendo do multiple redesigns of their portables before. With the Switch being a console/portable hybrid, the idea of a redesign really isn't all that crazy. I guess we'll just have to hang in there and see what Nintendo does!
