Check out more screens and art here

- game will follow a different story than the anime series
- you do not play as Chap (the protagonist of that series)
- you play as your own customization avatar
- combine various parts (eyes, eyebrows, hair, etc.)
- Chap and his friends do appear in the game
- if you scan Jaras and the Snacks via the NFC reader, you can get miniature weapon toys, as well as plates with monsters/characters sealed inside
- alternate between two phases: spending time at your base and tackling dungeons
- use your time in your base to prepare your equipment and pack up what you need for dungeon exploration
- explore dungeons in order to find the treasure that lies deep inside
- when battling, the weapon you choose is important, as certain enemies are weak against certain weapons
- dungeons are randomly generated, but will have treasure and a big boss in them
- dungeon examples include a canyon, a forest and a spooky temple
- one of the bosses found in the desert is Kraken, a giant with palm trees on its head
- another dungeon is the Heavy Temple, guarded by Medusa, who turned some of the prior heroes into stone with her gaze
- Buttari are a monster with a power outlet on its nose, and a plug at the tip of its tail
- Scopion wear binoculars to see far off, and they also have a bag with some test tubes inside, as well as a grappling hook
- Yeti are cute monsters that can spit sub-zero blizzard to freeze enemies
- Mermaids are the self-proclaimed “Idol of the Seas”, which let out attacks from their microphones
- other monsters include Penguin Knight, Mimic, Merman and Kurone
- Snacks and Jaras are two key items from the world, and both will see release as physical NFC toys
- Jaras are miniature weapon toys that you scan tap in order to make the in-game equivalent spawn in-game
- you can carry up to 6 of them, and you’re free to choose which ones
- Snacks are plates with monsters/characters inside, and if you scan them in-game, you can summon the monster/character
- sometimes you can scan a Jara to unlock a special quest, which will lead you to a power-up for your weapon
- when scanning a Snack, you can unlock a special quest involving Butako, in order to get Chap’s bandana
- items that appear in-game vary depending on the toy scanned,
- toy brands include Britannia Enchant: pretty high-class, Peffany: a girly brand, Clanarine: for classy (and wealthy) adventurers, Fairy Electronics: for fans of high-tech equipment
- free to combine Jaras from various brands
- to scan toys, you can use a New 3DS/XL, Nintendo's NFC adapter, or Level-5's portable read/write device
- toys will be sold in various forms, including as part of the Tre Jara Box
- first-print copies of the game will also come with a toy
- first series of toys will have 22 different Jaras and Snacks
- Jaras can be worn as actual accessories in real life
- official keyrings, like those worn by the characters in the anime series, will also be released
- the Fairypon is a portable device that the characters use in the anime series
- they can be used to play sounds or an actual mini-game
- in the mini-game, you can battle the monster on the Snack
- the result of the battle is actually written on the Snack’s NFC chip, but it’s not clear what this is used for
- two models of Fairypon: a pink one for Mayonne, and a blue or for Chap
- they both come with an exclusive Jara and Snack
- Butako with pendant + Clear Pink Panther for the former, and Butako + Clear Crystal Sword for the second
