Samsung to provide firmware update for TVs to stop automatic HDMI switching

There have been a number of complaints from Switch owners about automatic HDMI switching when using the system. Playing the Switch causes the input to be changed on the TV when the system is docked/undocked, which can be annoying for someone watching TV at the time. This problem mostly impacts Samsung TVs, which is why the company has plans for a firmware update to do away with the issue.

"Samsung has been following the comments on our Community Thread and we will be issuing a Firmware update early this summer that will address this behavior and provide the level of convenience that was intended."
