Rocket League Switch cross-play won't include PS4, as Sony wouldn't allow it

Again, like Minecraft, no PS4 support.

This seems to be how Sony is handling cross-platform play with all other consoles right now. Sony wouldn't let Minecraft on PS4 interact with other platforms, and now Sony has done the same with Rocket League. Xbox and PC platforms will be able to play against Switch players, and vice versa.
