Dear Reader:
Yoshi Switch - a few more gameplay details from Treehouse Live
- you can interact with the background and foreground
- you can shoot eggs into the backgrounds/foreground
- all stages have a front and back side you can explore
- throwing eggs into the background/foreground can cause all kinds of things to happen, including making flowers pop up
- you can also hit obstacles with your eggs and break them apart, like houses made out of paper/cardboard
- sometimes items you see moving from the front are actually being controlled by ShyGuys from behind
- some stages have magnets you can attach to metal items and use as a stepping stool or new platform
- one stage has a giraffe cart you can ride
- a simultaneous ground pound in two-player mode will flip the stage
- you can find a cardboard rhino that attacks you, but it's actually a ShyGuy hiding in a papercraft rhino costume
- you'll eventually use magnets in one level to weigh down a metal can and open a door
