Original voice of Travis Touchdown not asked to reprise his role for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes

I really think Robin Atkin Downes' performance as Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes 1 & 2 is part of why I love the character so much. It's a really unique performance, and he has a way of reading lines and getting into character I really enjoyed. It's over the top, crazy, and extremely memorable. Unfortunately, it seems Mr. Downes isn't returning for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

The voice in the trailer for Travis isn't Robin Atkin Downes, but it certainly sounds like someone trying to do an impression. It's not a bad voice, but it's definitely not Robin Atkin Downes. Perhaps Robin hasn't been approached yet because they aren't deep into the game's development, and they'll reach out to him when they actually start recording lines? If that were the case, I still don't know why they'd go with someone new for the debut trailer.
