A full breakdown of NBA 2K18's storage requirements (5GB internal for a save file!)
The following info comes from Nintendo's own info page on NBA 2K18.
- Initial software download after purchase – 6.8 GB
- Additional software update – 16.1 GB
- Save file – 5 GB system memory per save file
Okay, I'm not surprised by the file size. We've discussed those details in a couple posts in recent weeks. The real shocker here is needing 5GB of internal storage for your save file! That's storage space you can't get off of a microSD card. Now that's something that could become a big issue for games down the road. Let's hope this isn't the usual size requirement for big retail games in the future!
