Mini-game breakdown

Collect ’em All! Apple March. Two teams compete and try to collect as many apples as possible. Once you’ve brought them to your area, your partner has to pull the lever. You can do it on your own, but leaving your apples unattended even for a few seconds is absolutely not recommended. After all, your opponents can steal your apples by attacking you (and you can do the same), so you can be sure that unattended apples will look pretty tentalising to the other players!

Battle Royale. A pretty straightforward mode, where the last Kirby standing wins

Treasure Hunting. The goal is to collect as many coins as possible, but be careful of the ghosts roaming around: they make you drop them! When you’re possessed, you have to quickly run to an opponent and “give” them the ghost

Attack Rider. Battles take place in a circular arena, and players have to beat each other up over precious casino tokens. You can ride motorbike-like vehicles and un over opponents

Answer It! Action Theater. Players have to answer various simple questions by standing on the right panel. The twist is that you can kick opponents off the panels, to make sure you’re the only one getting the points. But be careful… other players can do the same!

Fly, fly, fly! Rocket Race. You have to gather energy, in order to power up your rocket. But you need to be careful: opponents can attack your rocket and steal its energy (and you can do the same, obviously). The Kirby whose rocket flies the highest is the winner

VS. Robobot Bonkers. A boss battle, where the winner is the player that deals the most damage to the boss. Of course, you can also attack your opponents

Smash Hockey: you send the puck at opponents to send them flying. If you’re kicked off the ring, you cannot go back and it’s game over for you!

Poi Poi Train: you have to gather diamonds and other precious stones, and put them in the various compartments of a train. Sometimes, there’s special compartments that give point bonuses (x2, for example)

Flag Shoot: you have to hit your opponents’ flags with a ball. You can carry the flag around to protect it from opponents.
In the standard mode, a game is played in 3 rounds, witch each round corresponding to one game. Basically, you play over 3 games (seemingly chosen at random), and the winner is the player with the most points at the end.
