LEGO Dimensions seems to be dead

While Warner Bros. themselves won't comment on the future of LEGO Dimensions, it does seem that the series is drawing to a close. As of right now, the evidence says there won't be a Year 3. While Warner Bros. hasn't released a statement, a document from TT Games studio manager Dave Dootson has made its way onto the net. This was circulated to other TT employees.

"Thanks so much to everyone for making Dimensions possible. As difficult as it has been, it is worth celebrating the incredible achievement it represents in the quality of the game, the amazing blend of IPs and the challenging technical demands it presented. It stands as a real testament to the talent within TT."
