Recently we saw some speculation concerning Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. We knew Nintendo was contacting gaming press to ask for permission to use their Zelda: A Link Between Worlds review quotes for something. People started thinking Nintendo was going to re-release the game on Switch, and that rumor grew wildly. Then we found out Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is getting a Nintendo Selects release on 3DS, which explains the review quote situation.
Now here's where things get weird. Somehow that rumor of A Link Between Worlds on Switch made it all the way over to China. Shanghai Mobile TV, a Chinese TV station you can watch on buses/trains, ran a story saying A Link Between Worlds was coming to Switch. As far as we know, they've gotten their wires crossed and are reporting the earlier rumor as fact. Either that, or this news station knows something we don't!
