Some third party LAN adapters stopped working on Switch following the launch of firmware version 5.0.0

There have been some reports of third party Switch docks and controllers dying when the Switch rolled out firmware version 5.0.0, but it seems like some other third party hardware has kicked the bucket as well. While not all third party LAN adapters are crapping out, there do seem to be a few brands that no longer work. Nintendo still hasn't addressed these hardware complaints, leaving fans wondering whether the malfunctioning products were the result of an issue with the firmware, or a planned result.
