Switch success helps boost shares of hardware manufacturers, analysts project global sales and record profits

Nikkei put together a piece looking at the insane success the Switch is seeing right now, and how it's helping not only Nintendo, but companies involved in manufacturing the device. You can see some tidbits from the feature below, as well as analyst projects for sales of Switch, and Nintendo profit.

- shares are up 62% for Minebea Mitsumi, who is involved in manufacturing of the Switch
- Hosiden, which also assembles the Switch, and supplier MegaChips have see shares rise more than 30% each
- Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management believes, "The rally of parts suppliers will be followed by that of software publishers."
- one estimate says global sales will reach at least 200 million unit
- Nintendo has seen operating profit more than quintupling to 160 billion yen this fiscal year
- Hideki Yasuda at Ace Research Institute belives, "It is highly possible that Nintendo earns a record profit in fiscal 2019."
