Nintendo now banning Switch game cards to fight piracy

Nintendo is not going to sit back and let piracy become an issue on the Switch as it did with the DS. In Nintendo's fight back against piracy, the company has started to ban specific Switch game cards. Turns out there's certificates that Nintendo can check for that are tied to game cards, and they'll squash any people who are using ill-gotten games. All you have to do to avoid this is play games legally!
