Digimon Survive announced for Switch

Bandai Namco is keeping the Digimon brand alive with an all-new game called Digimon Survive. The first details on this title have been shared in the latest issue of Famitsu, and we have the rundown for you.

- choices you make will affect story development and even some evolutions in the midst of battle
- exploration parts will have you search around the field to look for areas of interest which are key to the story

- move your partners around and have them fight enemies
- energy is consumed during battle
- the main characters were out camping when they suddenly get thrown into another world
- their lives are in dangers as they find themselves in a merciless world filled by ferocious creatures
- the protagonist is named Takuya Momotsuka
- he is a second-year middle school student (8th grade)
- his partner is Agumon
