Igarashi says Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is 'definitely' coming out in 2019

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been in development for quite some time, and fans have been doing all they can to remain patient while they wait for the game's launch. While some had hoped for the game to launch in 2018, that's not going to happen. Thankfully, Koji Igarashi himself says that the waiting will end with 2019.

"2019 is the year. It's definitely what we're focusing on. It's very difficult for us to keep working for such a long production period, especially when using outsourced companies. Right now, we want to get [Bloodstained] out as soon as possible. Quality is still very important, but yes, 2019 is the year we need to release the game."

Now as to when in 2019 the game will launch, that remains to be seen. Let's hope for a Q1/Q2 launch, but I have a feeling Q3/Q4 is more likely.
