Now that we have the data on Sept. 2018 sales for the states, we have an interesting stat on Mega Man 11.

The Sept. 2018 NPD report includes data up to Oct. 6th, 2018. Mega Man 11 launched on Oct. 2nd, 2018 here in the states, giving it 5 days' worth of data on the NPD charts. The game is nowhere to be found on the top 20 NPD, but it does appear on the Switch top 10 charts. Mega Man 11 comes in at spot #5 on that Switch-specific chart.

That's a pretty warm welcome from Nintendo fans for the Blue Bomber. It's worth pointing out that Mega Man 11 may not be in the top 20 for the month, but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was #19, and Minecraft was #20 overall. On the Switch-specific charts, Breath of the Wild was #4. That would mean that Mega Man 11 would have to be somewhat near Breath of the Wild's sales for Sept. 2018. Unfortunately we don't have have specific sales numbers on Breath of the Wild for this month to figure things out.

Remember, NPD does not report on digital sales for these platforms. It's likely Mega Man 11 did quite well on the Switch eShop, and hopefully put up a good showing on the XB1/PS4 digital shops as well.
