Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode let you buddy-up with a friend to enjoy the experience co-op. That will not be the case with Smash Bros. Ultimate's World of Light. This experience will be strictly single-player, so you'll have to brave through the challenges on your own.
