Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair's final level can be accessed right from the start of the game

It looks like Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is taking some inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Playtonic has revealed that the game's final level, which is Captain B.'s Impossible Lair, can be accessed right at the start of the game. You're free to take it on and it's certainly doable, but will be extremely challenging. The Impossible Lair is 4 times as large as a normal level, and it has no checkpoints. One hit is all it takes for you to get sent all the way back to the beginning.
