Many people consider The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition to be the most impressive Switch port there is, and it's hard to argue against that. While the game isn't as visually impressive as other versions, it's still surprisingly close to the originals. That took a lot of hard work from Saber Interactive, the team behind the port

In an interview with GamesBeat, Saber Interactive chief executive officer Matthew Karch talked about just how much more work needed to be done when the team got a version of the game up-and-running on Switch.

“When the initial port was done, the game was running at 10 frames per second, was taking 50% more memory than the Switch has, and the build size was 20GB larger than the biggest Switch cartridge. ...We worked tirelessly for a year to get the game running on Switch at 30 fps without losing the incredible visuals fans expect.”

If you want to know more about the insane amount of work that went into this port, make sure to check out the full interview.
