Darksiders Genesis devs discuss the potential for another installment in this style

Darksiders Genesis is a departure for the Darksiders franchise, taking things in a more isometric, Gauntlet-style direction. Is this just a one-off, or could we see future installments also take on this approach? In an interview with NintendoEverything, Airship Syndicate president Ryan Stefanelli and CEO / Darksiders co-creator Joe Madureira discussed the chances of that happening.

Stefanelli: I don’t know. I mean it’s certainly a possibility for us working on it. As for whether or not there will be future Darksiders games in this vein, I think that our audience is going to decide that for us by buying it. If it sells really, really well, you can bet that there will be.

Madureira: And THQ obviously.

Stefanelli: Yeah, of course. They will probably make the decision based on how it sells.
