Dear Reader:
Japanese hardware/software sales for Feb 10th to Feb. 16th, 2020
It's time to take a look at the recently released Japanese sales charts for the week of February 10th, 2020. With the debut of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MegaMix in Japan, the world-famous Vocaloid took the #1 sales position, selling 53,606 total physical copies. Pokemon Sword and Shield sits at a respectable second position this week, with 24,534 more copies sold. Likely due to the continued stock shortage in Japan, Ring Fit Adventure sold only 10,238 more units, and has been bumped down to 5th place on the charts. Hardware-wise, the Nintendo Switch continues to be the best selling console by a wide margin. 80,312 more Nintendo Switch units were sold this week between the Switch and Switch Lite.
