Dear Reader:
Charles Martinet looks back on one of his most unique roles
Homunculus

Game: Shadow Of Memories (PS2)
Year: 2001
Note: Perhaps Charles Martinet's most unique voice role as it's a far cry from his usual Mario/Luigi/Wario persona. This was Martinet's second work with Konami.@CharlesMartinet @Konami pic.twitter.com/cM0cxtMeGe
We may know Charles Martinet as the man behind the voices of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and so on, but he's also performed some other voicework duties in his career. For example, 19 years ago, Martinet took on a role that's quite different from his usual offerings.
Martinet shared a tweet about his work on the 2001 title Shadow of Destiny. He played the character Homunculus, which you can see in action above. It's definitely a very different character for Martinet, as he's playing a rather serious character. It's pretty interesting hearing yet another example of Martinet's range!
