Speedrunner's 8-year journey ends with a Super Mario 64 world record win, and an incredibly wholesome moment
Job well done, Ryan!
Ryan "Simply" Reeves has been trying to set a world record in Super Mario 64 for 8 years now, and his big moment finally happened. Ryan completed Super Mario 64 with all 120 stars in a time of 1:38:28, which beat the previous record of 1:38:43, which was set by a player called Liam Kings.

Getting a victory after 8 years of work lead to a rush of emotion from Ryan, which makes this clip worth sharing in and of itself. That said, the moment only gets better with some heartwarming praise. I don't want to ruin what happens, so just watch the clip above and enjoy.
