Over the weekend, Charles Martinet confirmed that a new Mario game was in the works. This wasn't New Super Mario Bros. Wii, nor was it Super Mario Galaxy 2. What game could Martinet be doing Mario work for now? He didn't say...and now Nintendo won't say anything either.

If you didn't believe the Twitter update before, now you know it's the real deal. Just when is Nintendo going to reveal this new title? Seems like soon, if I had to guess. Voicework is already being recorded, which I would think is some indication of how far along the project is.

The Wii has big-name Mario titles on the way, and one was just released (Sonic & Mario at the Winter Olympics). Why would we need another?
I'm guessing Mario Golf with WM+.
They generally wouldn't record new stuff for a DS game, because those don't use voices very much, if at all. The ones that do often reuse old sound files, especially if it's a spin-off.
Unless it's a main game, or has new characters...

Really? Bowser's Inside Story had TONS of new voice clips. Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics, I'm guessing did too. There are hardly any Mario games where they literally reuse all the voice clips.
but the last time he went on vacation his tropical destination was covered in sludge and attacked by bowser jr!
God yes I would love this. I was thinking about this the other day. There were too many titles that I want on a game like this.

And NSMBW is being released only 4 months after announcement.
Miyamoto's next Keynote may have him revealing it if he is involved with it like he is for NSMB Wii and Galaxy 2.We know that Charles Martinet is involved and that twitter account has now been proved as a true Nintendo related twitter account so it is time to keep up with it.

I understand keeping things close to your chest, but when its already out on the internet, whats the point of telling somebody to take it off their website?
