SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mortals and vampires alike can rest easy with the news that Harcos has released Blood Energy Potion, the world’s first synthetic blood beverage. From the gamer geeks behind the award-winning Mana Energy Potion and its follow-up, Health Energy Potion, Blood Energy Potion is the only treatment available for Bloodlust, a chronic condition that affects almost 100% of people afflicted with Vampirism. This new energy shot not only has a similar nutritional make-up to real blood; it also has the same color, look and consistency, making it the perfect solution to otherworldly cravings.

“If you’re suffering from Bloodlust, it’s important to remember that you are not alone,” said Aaron Rasmussen, co-founder and vice president of marketing, Harcos. “We created Blood Energy Potion to help control the symptoms of Bloodlust so you can get back to your non-life without worrying about the fate of your loved ones when those hunger pangs strike.”

Packed with iron, protein and electrolytes, the fruit punch-flavored potion provides up to four hours of energy, and the re-sealable transfusion bag-style pouch makes it ideal for people with Vampirism on the go. The simple act of drinking Blood Energy Potion will quell most symptoms of Bloodlust – including irritability, restlessness and uncontrollable biting – immediately. With a suggested MSRP of $3.99 per shot, Blood Energy Potion is available now without a prescription from livingwithbloodlust.com, and will soon be available from retailers, including Hot Topic, Fry’s Electronics, Micro Center and ThinkGeek, among others. Order now through Friday, Oct. 23, from the official website to receive Blood Energy Potion before Halloween.

People living with Bloodlust, or concerned about the possibility, can visit livingwithbloodlust.com for tips, testimonials, or a diagnosis.

Those who may be experiencing Bloodlust and need urgent assistance can call the Bloodlust hotline at 310-526-FANG (3264) for a free consultation with one of Blood Energy Potion’s trained representatives.

Well it's almost Halloween so this makes sense... I wish they shipped to Canada. I would've bought some.

What? Isn't this taking Twilight too far, plus I don't think they would be satisfied as it is only type-B. =D

*clicks the link* Doesn't seem to actually be Twilight related (though it could be since Hot Topic is one of the places selling this stuff). Could always be "True Blood" related, or hell maybe it's a sign the new Hellsing OVA is close to an English release (if it isn't already... sorry, haven't been keeping up with that).

I'll definately be buying some when it's released. Bloodlust really effects my daily life. I can't even remember a day where I haven't almost killed a family member due to the bloodlust symptoms. Thanks, Harcos! You've saved my family for another day.

For those who come back to check this out: I bought some today and it actually isn't bad. It's not as good as other energy drinks out there (I prefer Amp myself), but it's not bad. Definately worth buying just for the humor factor (ie: the lulz).
