Gearbox not done with Brothers in Arms series

I'm not upset that the series may continue, I just don't want to see it take on WWII again. Haven't we had more than enough of that?

I agree that WW2 shooters are really boring now, but if every series goes Modern... then that market will be too saturated and the same thing is going to happen!

BiA was always an exception to me when it came to WWII shooters because it was a little more tactical than a typical shooter with it's squad commands and it's presentation (not graphics wise though) was by far better than other WWII shooters.

I mean it's liking playing an episode of Band of Brothers.

I have no problem with a WWII setting. What I do have a problem with is the fact that it's mostly about the European Campaign

It was the reason why I only rented World at War.. It was a cool game but I'm just tired of WWII settings.

the world war theme has merely a
re-skin of an existing shooter,

i can't think of one game that really goes back in time,

I love WWII f.p.s.'s. The weapons are so darn cool, MP40'S, Thompson's and colt .45's are all I need!
If only Desert Eagle's were invented back then, lol.
