I played a lot of SmackDown Vs. RAW 2010 tonight...a lot! Man, I haven't had this much fun with a wrestling game in a long time. I'm so happy it's the weekend, because that means I'll actually have time to play more! I hope you guys have some great games to play over the weekend. Either that, or you have something else fun planned! I'll see you all in a few, short hours.

By the way, did you check out Rinry's latest video!?

Not too long ago, we posted an article about the short-lived Rayman cartoon. I had no idea that one existed, which made me think that this Saturday morning would be the perfect time to check an episode out. After watching one, I'm thinking that this is either one of those shows that you'll love or hate. Just don't end up getting too attached if you do enjoy it. The show has long since been cancelled. We're too late to save it, but at least we can enjoy what it gave us before it disappeared!

This only makes me hope TMNT doesn't look like this. D:

I like how the second half looks unrelated at the start.

And Rayman's voice is Billy West/Stimpy/Fry. Winrar.

Strange accent though, with the "ahh" thing at the end.

Also, the reason you didn't know it existed, RMC, is because it didn't air here.

EDIT:

More infos~

Ah, I got a VHS with a few episodes of this with my copy of Rayman 2 here in Australia. Seemed a little weird as something to give out with it since it wasn't on TV to watch and it wasn't in stores to buy.

Even though the 3D's pretty bad by today's standards I still find something about it charming. That might just be the nostalgia talking, though.

RMC, why didn't you report on the keynote Shiggy had today in Japan? Yeah, nothing was announced but you haven't mentioned it :p

This looks great compared to today's shows. Seriously, I barely watch TV anymore except to watch recordings.

@zeroslash

Tell me about it, I bought the Season 1 DVD set of The Adventures of Pete & Pete and that has been the most I have seen of TV this month.

I watched all 4 episodes of this a few months back. Not bad really. Never knew it existed at first until one day I was looking at a list of characters Billy West had voiced before and noticed "Rayman." I checked and found out it was only in the animated series where he voiced him and not the games. So anyway I looked it up and sure enough I found all 4 episodes on YouTube. Guess it must have had really poor ratings in Europe which would explain why it never aired on US TV.

The quality wasn't that bad. It's just that the lip-synching needed some work.

Other than that, it wasn't too bad at all. Good animation, good renders, thankful there's no catchphrase; I would've loved to see more of this show....if I were still in Junior High.

That actually wasn't bad. I liked it, too bad it's cancelled now.

@Muigi

I think that's because the original wasn't in english. Welcome to the land of badly-dubbed shows.

@BigLord

That would explain why the quality is much more of a step-up than those cheap 3D cash-ins we got back then. (Max Steel, to name one)

@Alkemystical

Look up at what RMC says before he started talking about the Rayman cartoon.

@Muigi

Oh gosh I remember Max Steel. My younger brother liked it, but ReBoot was about 100 times better (so happy the movie's finally being made!). Anyway yeah Rayman was created by a French company so this cartoon was most likely animated in France. I wonder if Michel Ancel had any involvement in the show (speaking of which, what is that guy doing right now? I heard he's not involved with Rabbids Go Home, and of course as of late the development status of Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been up in the air [oh wait, one of the producers of Rabbids Go Home did say that Rayman's finally going to have more platformers since the Rabbids are officially breaking away from the Rayman series, it's possible Ancel could be involved with a new Rayman project]).
