Hmm.. movement looks kind of stiff..

Maybe it modeled before Super Castlevania.

Who were the two losers who kept interrupting the footage?

Wow, actually looks pretty good in motion. Nice parallex scrolling and decent animation... it's a shame we didn't get this game today though.

Kind of hard to tell, but I hope it has that limpy walk for the Belmont character the old games used to have.

Also, just show the games! I hate the editing style where you have to intersperse video of the announcer multiple times in a small second clip to make it "hip".

Do people honestly have that short of an attention span these days?

This looks awesome. I've seriously been waiting for a true return to form for Castlevania for ages now. I pray it's more than 4 stages... and better than Contra Rebirth.

@MrBubbles

You're just jealous that you've never killed Dracula.

In all seriousness, a new SNES Castlvania game? They must have made this game for me, the only person alive who enjoyed SCIV more than SoTN.

Looks cool! I am glad we saw some... that blue flame when the giant bat died was really cool...

Nintendo Week is a guilty pleasure, man. Dorky, but in a fun way that you wouldn't admit to anybodies face.

'COLD METAL EMBRACE!'

Oh god someone remove those two people.

The game is ridiculously well animated, just like Contra Rebirth.

So what new information can we extract from this video:
-whip hits in front an behind simultaniously
-knife item consumes one heart, cross items requires two hearts
- new bosses or midbosses that weren't in the Game Boy game
-jumps can be controlled, at least to some degree

I'm not really digging the visuals...

Perhaps it's better to reserve judgment though until there's some more substance to respond to.
