How many games let you take on the role of an older character? Outside of Metal Gear Solid 4, it's pretty hard to think of an example, isn't it? It's a shame that we don't see more games that pay tribute to/respect the elderly. If Nintendo wants to take one of their game characters and turn them into an 80-year-old tottering coot, I'm all over it! I'd love to play as grandpa Link!

You could play (even though it was brief) as a old man in Super Ghouls and Ghosts I believe. Although I don't have that a good memory anymore...
What about Killer 7? Harlan Smith was old... and wheelchair-bound! Technically you were playing as him, in the guise of his many personalities.
