Looks like Wii Sports Resort is on its way to become the success that its big brother is. We've learned that Wii Sports Resort has now sold over 7 million units worldwide, which is quite a big achievement. Just yesterday I saw someone picking the game up, adding to that success level. Of course, this also means great things for the MotionPlus accessory, which has sold well over the 7 million units that were included with Wii Sports Resort. Now that WSR comes with double MotionPlus units, I'm thinking the peripheral is going to see even more support!

This will most likely mean more developers will take advantage of Motion+, allowing for more precise motion controls. Lets not forget that Tiger Woods also had very nice sales, and Red Steel 2 will come in a bundle version for those who lack the peripheral. I really want more devs to make use of Motion+.

I just bought it the other day! I hope I helped cross that 7 million tipping point.

We all hope that devs will do that, but I really don't expect it to happen a lot. I might get Red Steel 2 if it turns out good and has a bundle going on, but I'll only jump onto WM+ if there's more than one game that I want to play, unless they throw it in for REALLY cheap.

That IS a lot of sales. Damn. I really doubt that we're going to get major support for WiiMotion+.
