New Super Mario Bros. Wii is just around the corner. I've been foaming at the mouth for that one ever since I had my hands-on at E3. We also know that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is in the works, and should be seeing a release sometime in 2010. With all that going on for everyone's favorite plumber, what's the big guy going to bring us in 2011? Where could Mario possibly go now?

Mario has done well this generation so far i think. He has given me Paper Mario, 3D and soon 2D platformers. Now though, i am really hoping Camelot make another Mario Golf and Tennis game for the DS and Wii with linkup capabilities of course, just like Toadstool Tour, the most hardcore game ever made :P

Let's see...

Super Mario Sunshine was about Mario on a tropical island.

Super Mario Galaxy had him adventuring through space.

The next game will have him in the icy tundra: Super Mario Avalanche!

>Wants Mario playing American football
>Thinks baseball is boring

I think I almost punched a hole through my computer screen.

Next Mario game I honestly just want him going through the Mushroom Kingdom in 3D. We haven't done that yet, surprisingly.

I'd like a "Super Mario Bros: Infinite Worlds" game... with a level editor, DLC with costumes and elements and a dedicated site to exchange levels.Yeah... i know... maybe on Nintendo's next console.

@tendoboy1984

That was just Peach's Castle and some magic paintings inside of it.

American Mario Football??? LOL! No one will play that worldwide! Maybe Mario Rugby...

I'd say Mario should tackle the dreaded multi-dimensions i.e. light/dark worlds, but more cheerful of course.

Or maybe that damn plumbing. Over 20 years of flaking off!
