The listing is real, but I don't know that it was filed correctly. Capcom just told everyone that Phoenix Wright makes more sense on the DS, and would stay portable. Would they really be pulling a Nintendo-like trick on us? Thanks to all those that sent this in!

I better start practicing the objection, slam hands on the table and wave the evidence motions.

Chances are if it's really coming out on the Wii, it'll be WiiWare so they can afford a costly retail release, and no motion controls will benefit the game like the mic and touch screen did on the DS. We will see pointer functionality.

Makes me wonder if this will bring out useless 3rd party plastic add-ons. Like a pointing finger add-on. :D

Cool news overall, if it's true.

WiiWare Phoenix Wright would be awesome! Of course I'd also love a full retail game with voice overs.

Eh, I kinda hope not. The series was made for the DS (actually GBA for that matter) and it really seems like it should stay that way. I don't know how well it would translate to Wii.

Still, being (one of) my favorite series of all time - I would have to check it out either way...

Ace Attorney would be amazing on the Wii, both for compatibility and the ability to have voice acting and high-res or 3D graphics. Think about the things outside of court especially... stuff like dusting for fingerprints and the like. That sort of thing would really benefit from motion control, I think!

I've been thinking about this. WiiWare would definitely work very well here.

@Monodi

Actually I think I lost a chance to say "YESH!!! Show me your moves!"

I think they need to make it an episodic WiiWare (or DSiWare) game. The games are already divided into parts.

Use Wii Speak to verbally yell "HOLD IT" and "OBJECTION!" HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE!?!?!?

I bet it'll end up being an episodic 'remake' of the first title.

you know, split in a way where they end up making 20-30 dollars when it's all said and done

Is the Harvey Birdman game any good? I love the cartoon on Adult Swim, and Capcom made the game (they have a good track record)...

It's a bit odd; One would think this would be better suited to DSiWare, or just a rerelease for the DSi itself rather than a WiiWare game. Because of the restriction to a home console, though, I don't see it doing nearly as well as the handheld versions.

@tendoboy1984

It's alright. You'll enjoy it if you like Harvey Birdman, but it's not really a great game otherwise.
