What is sad is that it releases in less than a week and we've only seen a small number of "so called Alpha" screenshots, no trailers/videos, poor quality, blurry camera snapshots of the back of the official box. And now we get a youtube video of someone playing the game on a 10-year old crt tv while holding their video camera. It's Quantum of Solace Wii version all over again.
Not a very good video. I can't really tell just how the game looks from that footage. Would have been better if it was a direct feed.
I looked at the pics from the GAF topic and while they're not much better, I've gotta admit I'm midly surprised the Infinity Ward logo grafiti was left in the game (or maybe I shouldn't be, I heard Treyarch was told to not alter anything).
So much for "Wii version has everything the other versions have". So sick of devs picking online over local. Why don't they take the time to do both? This game especially has no excuse with it being a 2 year old title.

Anyways.. There's not much you can tell from this video except that the game has a different set of difficulty levels and descriptions and the intro looked about the same as the HD versions, but I'm not sure because the guy focused on the cat.
Looks good to me, hard to tell with crappy camera work, cat close ups, and not to mention it's on a Singer TV, doesn't Singer make sewing machines. It looks better than CodW@W to me as well. So that's a plus. Anywho, I think it looks like a solid effort, and I can't wait to pick it up next week. See some of you on the battlefield!
Hey, if the controls are good (i.e. WaW Wii but a bit faster), the game runs well, and the online is relatively lag-free, then I will have no problem devoting 100+ hours to this.
Until the hackers and glitchers ruin all public games, of course.
How is anybody going to compare this to quantum of solace? You guys complain even after we get some good screens showing the game looking damn good. The video did have s*** quality but you can still tell that the graphics are well done. Those screens are f*** GEORGEOUS and got me pumped for monday. Gamestop called me today and reminded me about the midnight launch they're doing for it.

Doesn't look absolutely incredible, but as a Wii game it's in the upper echelon. Hell, what am I saying? Looks better than every other FPS on the system.
As a multiplat owner it doesn't really interest me but I can certainly understand why some of 'yall would be excited.
Certainly looks better than The Conduit, and, well, I mean, it's Call of Duty 4. Which means it's better than The Conduit. Which also means it's better than every other FPS on the system. If you're looking for an FPS fix on the Wii, looks like this is the game to get.

it's just so perfect. The best selling game of two year ago , come to the wii without any support at all from the kings of promotion activision , and the only pictures/video come from a pirated version played on a old tv . Oh and it's not even direct feed, just someone filming that. Just a perfect way to sum up what the thirdparties/ industry think about nintendo. I guess this holiday season means no fps for me and three retail 2d game

It froze for me as well then I tried it on my Wii on Youtube XL, then it actually worked fine.

Well, I feel for the cat that apparently was injured and for the owner who possibly has a cold.. but I was intersted in watching the game.
