Wow, people REAAALLLY don't know how to make an NES box. Here are some mistakes I noticed:
*Gears of War: There was no technology back then that could make artwork like that, and practically all of the NES boxes that were of that style featured sprites from the game.
*Assassin's Creed: Official Seal of Quality logo didn't look like that back then. (though the classic Ubisoft logo IS a nice touch!)
*Snake's Revenge: Not even going to discuss what's wrong with this box.
*Infamous: Once again, artwork looks too fancy.
*Halo 3: ESRB didn't exist yet, Bungie's logo didn't look like that, and HOW DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO MAKE THAT ARTWORK?

Yeah, this doesn't look like a NES game, but that's OK, it was a valiant effort. =)

yeah Most of these photoshop jobs fail horribly.at least throw in some pixellation for minor relevancy.

Is it just me...or does the reimagining of Viewtiful Joe look a WHOLE lot like Yo-Noid! ?

Somebody actually wasted his own time and mine creating classic boxart for modern games.

That's pretty lame. They just took current art and slapped it onto the front of an NES cartridge. This article would have been better if they actually re imagined the box art for these game in the style of the 80's without the modern photoshop techniques.
