Those are the top 3 spots on Amazon Japan's video game side of things. It looks like Japan really can't wait to get their hands on the DSi LL! No more units around for preorder, so Japanese gamers will have to head out to brick-and-mortar stores to get a unit. Thanks to Supa_S for the heads up!

that's exactly what i was thinking! do these people not realize how frickin' heavy this thing is??
maybe old people preordered in amazon
@METRO!Dgamer: Let's rename the 360 to the DSBox and see if that holds up.
lol @ all the people who said they want a bigger screened portable
Ever heard of the PSP?
The DS does it and now it's amazing, but Sony's handheld had a bigger screen for years.
I hate Nintendo bias. I really do.
How heavy it is?!? They should call it 'DSi FIT' lol
@terryxlr
Agreed, good sir. I am going to get one too.
"lol @ all the people who said they want a bigger screened portable

But people simply don't want the PSP
This DS was made specifically with indoor use in mind.
The majority of my DS gaming is at home, with the occasional vacation as well. I never have it in my pocket and would love a larger portable. That being said, I honestly think we'll see the next gen portable from Nintendo announced next year in Japan(maybe 2011 for U.S.) so I don't really want to jump on the DSi LL/XL.
As far as the psp goes, I've owned two(sold them both) and I don't care if I ever own another again. The PSP is an ergonomic nightmare and its even worse for someone like me who has large hands. The UMD format is awful and the load times annoying.
I know the go is out and it improves the layout, and is without/lessens load times. However, I don't want a DD system as it is, let alone one that costs close to $300(after tax).
Yes the UMD format is horrible. The things are very fragile, and discs don't work in a portable system due to the load times and the draining of the battery.
However, I don't see why you think the PSP is an ergonomic nightmare. I have average-size hands, and the PSP is very comfortable for me.
The DS Lite, however, doesn't fit my hands well. The buttons are too small and the square shape of the system makes it hard for me to get a good grip.
This.
Yeah, I heard it was better for people who has slightly bad eyesight. It also does justice for those with big hands! :0
I personally wouldn't buy this because I'm afraid that I might accidentally drop it due to it's mass.
But people with big hands bought the PSP right?
I'm sure it would be okay if you dropped it a few times. Nintendo builds their hardware strong, especially when they design it for frail old people. But yea, if you have a Gamecube, just pick it up and throw it down the stairs. I guarantee you it will hold together and still work perfectly. It might even run faster! That's how all Nintendo products are.
Its not all bias....they updated the platform to finally do what the PSP does(in terms of screen size only..big whoppedooooo hehe and ..er if some people like that..(as they do not HAVE TO GET IT) then what is wrong with that? People can and will stick their original DSi. Duh.
I personally am still with DSlite and my phat is ...somewhat used. But I have not got a DSi.... True I did plan on getting a DSi but I am glad I am behind and broke. I can now look forward to saving for a DSi XL(even if I have to get rid of both my DS to do so) with finally largest screens ever to grace a Nintendo portable and TWO at that with better viewing angle? Nice.
Lets get one thing straight sir.(well it might be two) The DS is no PSP(graphics, power) Now lets get this: The PSP is NO DS!
Dual Screens(XL now offers TWO the basically the same as PSP size whats 0.1 inches virtually nothing) and the interactive stylus controls combined with buttons and the dual screens provide a unique gaming experience that and its portable at that.
I mean...there is no comparison. hehe
One is a glorified portable do it all media marvel. The other is a portable unique gaming device that does come with some other optional non gaming features.
Take your pick OR both and that's it.
Ummm the PSP and DS don't have the exact same games so if someone prefers the DS games and has big hands, what would be the point of GETTING A PSP?
Well Nintendo is going to release the DSi LL in North America and Europe. Does that mean Americans and Europeans are dumb too?
